MISSION STATEMENT

Teaching Biblical Principles to help teens establish a relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ; preparing them to commit their lives to Christ as they come into adulthood.

WHO DOES IGNITE TARGET?

  1. The program is designed for teens (aged 13 to 18) who currently attend or are affiliated with a CGI congregation or one of our ministry partners.

  2. The program is also designed to support the work parents (or guardians) are currently doing in guiding their youth towards building a relationship with God, understanding the Bible, and becoming a contributing member of the Body of Christ. This website and all it offers is an example of information available which is designed to meet these goals. Those of you with additional questions, or who do not have a regular congregation to meet with, may make those requests known to the Church of God International by emailing us at  info@cgi.org or calling us at 1-903-939-2929.

WHY IGNITE?

ignite was initiated by the Church of God International, to build upon the foundations laid in “sparks” (our children’s program) and to build towards being part of “infuse” (our young adults program).  These three programs are designed to work hand in hand to develop passion for biblical values and lead young people to a lifelong commitment to God The Father, and Jesus Christ, His Son.

HOW DOES IGNITE DO THIS?

We are teaching the basics of God’s Word through several vehicles. Each of these vehicles is a tool intended to support parents or guardians and provide opportunities for teens to learn God’s Word, to practice what is learned, to connect with other teens of like mind and prepare for baptism.

Tools Used: Youth Studies, website, retreats, camps and special activities throughout the year; The Infuse magazine; The Feast of Tabernacles.
